We are delighted to announce the 13th Jounatar Pathshala / Sexuality Academy, 06 - 09 March 2025. Sappho for Equality organises this four-day residential programme to have in-depth discussions around gender-sexuality. The entire programme will be conducted primarily in Bangla.
Sappho for Equality, through this academy, aims to discuss with participants an intersectional understanding of gender-sexuality, through a historical as well as contemporary lens. For example, we will discuss gender-sexuality issues through the state, religion, caste, body and mind, disability, livelihood, morality-immorality, law, and contemporary movements.
If you are willing to apply for the sexuality academy, please send us a draft within 200 words, explaining why you are willing to participate in this sexuality academy. Please send us your biodata within the time frame of 01st of February 2025. If you are selected for the same, we will confirm your participation by the 15th of February 2025.
